Here are some thoughts at the beginning of the year:
In soccer, it often happens that strikers that usually score with virtually every touch of the ball are in a complete slump and game after game seem unable to hit the empty net from inches in front of the goal line. They can’t believe it themselves and keep shaking their head. Media write about how bad they play. Fans start booing them.
These things can happen. And in every career that slump comes some time.
But when you ask experienced coaches or former successful players, they know how the only solution to it.
Just keep on pushing. Stop bothering, stop depression, stop listening to others trying to bring you down. Just continue giving you best and carry on. The day when you will break the downturn will come
Sometimes the only escape is in forward direction.
I wish you a year in which in your jobs you will always hit the net. And if you still may drop into a slump I wish you the stamina and will to move on and beat it. All the best for 2011!
